The World Bank through the International Development Agency (IDA) engaged ALTEQ to (1) identify constraints faced by the private sector in terms of costs, access to finance & regulations and (2) establish a basis for severally internationally comparable indicators to track changes in the business environment over time to assess the impact of the BDS intervention program

What We Did

• Collaborated with the World Bank to design a survey instrument
• Developed MSME samplings in both Kaduna & Lagos States
• Recruitment & training of 50 field enumerators
• Developed comprehensive MS Access database software
• Conducted interviews and survey of 500 MSMEs in Kaduna & Lagos States
• Cleaned, organized & analyzed data
• Developed reports and presentations to the World Bank and other stakeholdersContract Length
